Senior Designer/Associate Communications Director for the National Coast Guard Museum Association. The National Coast Guard Museum Association is the non-profit organization in the process of building a world-class museum that will explore and honor the nation’s rich maritime heritage through the lens of the United States Coast Guard. The museum is projected to serve as a catalyst to the city’s urban revitalization. It will also provide to the public a gateway into discovering Coast Guard life and further the Coast Guard’s recruitment efforts. Interactive exhibits, programs, public and private partnerships, STEM-based educational programs, and leadership training opportunities are expected to be a formidable part of the museum experience.
Primary Duties: Managing Editor, Design Director, Graphic Designer, and Contributing Writer for The Long Blue Line, a 100-page Coast Guard magazine published quarterly. Responsible for all of the National Coast Guard Association’s printed collateral, which includes newsletters, brochures, case statements, annual reports, etc. Key developer in the organization’s messaging, outreach, and branding.

Graphics/Product Designer at The Empire Group: The Empire Group is a full-service design agency specializing in industrial design, graphic design, engineering, and advanced 3D printing and prototyping. Its clients range from individual inventors to major brands like Hasbro, Staples, Summer Infant, General Dynamics, and Raytheon.
Primary Duties: Due to the agency's consultancy model, graphic design assignments varied frequently—often shifting from week to week or even day to day. Typical assignments included back-to-school stationery graphics, packaging design for toys and juvenile products, instructional booklets, die-line development, and various graphics for prototypes in development.
